Weeds is Marguerite’s tribute to the uncelebrated women healers that have aided humankind, many of whom have been omitted from sanctioned history. Referring to knowledges inherited by oral tradition, a melodious female voice chants the names women healers and their contributions, a list punctuated by percussive instruments and stretching tones.
